Becoming a Partner
CAS works through a locality-based partnership model.
The national CAS team supports key local organisations to create localised communities of practice for their schools. The organisations may involve but are not limited to local authorities, school-sport partnerships, multi-academy trusts and active partnerships. Once a partnership has signed up to CAS, a CAS Champion (locality lead) is selected and trained. They are then supported to identify local schools who wish to engage in the CAS professional Development programme. CAS Champions are supported by monthly online community of practice with CAS Champions, programme materials and an annual conference. As research is at the heart of CAS, we embed evaluation within the CAS programme to enable partnerships to demonstrate impact and show return on investment.
